Shelter project
The shelter project is one of the first charitable projects launched by Al-Urwat Al-Wuthqa, which was implemented by the association in the Gaza/Jerash camp and other areas, due to the painful reality suffered by poor families and orphan families from the severe shortage of basic needs of infrastructure and services, in addition to the fact that most of the camp residents had their homes built on unsound foundations of zinc and carcinogenic asbestos, which do not protect them from the summer heat or the winter cold. Therefore, the association launched this project in order to rebuild and restore dilapidated homes. So far, (170) homes have been built and restored in the camp, Amman and Madaba. This includes external works, skeletons and interior finishing within engineering specifications and distinguished finishes.
